This was Monotec’s first year at the Agritech Expo
Nampo Harvest Day – Bothaville
Grain SA’s NAMPO Harvest Day is one of the largest agricultural exhibitions under private ownership in the southern hemisphere and it takes place annually, just outside of the town of Bothaville, in the Free State province of South Africa. Grain SA’s NAMPO Harvest Day enables producers and other role players in the agricultural industry to experience the latest technology and products on offer in the farming industry first-hand and on one terrain. The products and services that are displayed by the more than 650 exhibitors, establish the NAMPO Harvest Day as a diversified trade exhibition, which offers producers the opportunity to compare a wide variety of products and services and in so doing, enables them to make informed decisions. Grain SA strives to keep the NAMPO Harvest Day trade oriented as an agricultural and trade exhibition with a specific focus on agriculture and not on entertainment and the exhibition of flea market items. Grain SA’s NAMPO Harvest Day is dynamic and each year the organisers strive to keep pace with the changing needs, requirements and expectations of producers and role players in the agricultural sector.

ADMA AgriShow, Thorn Park Polo Ground, Mazowe, Zimbabwe
After many years of inactivity, ADMA as an association decided it would be good idea to hold a show for their membership and to attract their specific target market ie the farming community, over a short period 2-3 days modelled on Nampo in South Africa and the Agritech show in Zambia.
The initiative behind our Agrishow was an opportunity once a year for all Industry Players to exhibit static displays and live demonstrations of tractors and equipment, as an opportunity for our farmers to compare tractor brands, agricultural machinery and anything else a farmer would require side by side.
The live demonstrations would be an opportunity for the industry to promote their products, highlighting special features and cost saving advantages or concepts working on identical soil types and conditions.
As a whole the show offers a unique opportunity for farmers to build relationships with: Machinery and equipment suppliers; Fertilizer and Agrochemical companies; seed producers; Irrigation specialists; financial institutions and many more Agricultural supply companies.

No Till conference
This year’s No Till Conference held in Bergville from the 8th until the 10th of September 2016 was again a great success. With huge interest in the Conference hall to even more interest in the Demo Field the No Till Culture is gaining more and more regard each year.
Once again the Monosem No Till planter proved formidable in the tough dry conditions experienced most year’s during the No Till Conference.
The particular six row Monosem planter on display and demonstrated was fitted with the all new Monosem NXM row units boasting an even tougher parallel linkage coupled with the ‘tested and proven’ high precision pneumatic metering units.
With the Monosem’s fully auto reset no till tine and coulter farmers need not worry anymore about fertiliser placement and tine penetration in the toughest conditions.
Val Farmers day – Greylingstad (Mpumalanga)

From a small beginning of 8 exhibitors its has grown to 118 exhibitors in 2016. More than 3280 people visited the farmers day in 2016.
The Val-farmers day is a success story based on hard work and cooperation. The organisers want to attempt to bring back demonstrations like in the olden days.
